What Is Life Coaching?

We don’t exist in a bubble! Humans are relational creatures. We learn and grow by our interactions (both positive and negative) with others. How we respond to the world around us determines how successful we may be in life. 

Coaching is a collaborative and supportive process where a coach works with an individual or a group to help them achieve their personal or professional goals, improve their life and job satisfaction, and enhance their overall wellbeing. It empowers an individual to maximise their potential, achieve greater fulfilment, and create positive changes in their lives and careers.

Coaching Programs and Services

Intensive Leadership Progression

A 4-month program focused on understanding and improving your leadership impact, focused on understanding self, and unlocking your potential leadership presence and capability.

More Details

Self-discovery: We will use the Hogan Personality Assessment as the basis of understanding your personality traits, potential derailers, and core values relevant to your leadership style. The Hogan assessments are a set of personality assessment tools that have been developed to assess different aspects of an individual’s personality, providing insights into their values, behaviours and potential performance in the workplace.

There are three core assessments:

  • Hogan Personality Inventory (HPI): measures how you would react on a normal day and how you relate to others when you are at their best.
  • Hogan Development Survey (HDS): measure how you would typically behave and react when under pressure as it assesses personality traits that can derail success.
  • Motives, Values, Preferences Inventory (MVPI): identifies core values, goals, and interests that determine what you strive to achieve and the environments in which you will be most motivated.

Coaching: Together, we will identify 3-5 core focuses areas to support your growth as a leader in your current role or for future roles. These areas will be based on the Hogan Personality assessments and the conversation that stems from the Hogan debrief. 

Leadership Presence

A 2-month program enabling you to find your signature leadership voice, learn how to manage your energy, and own the room you are in. This will equip you with practical tools and strategies to lead with authenticity, influence with impact, and inspire positive change in your organisation.

This programme is aimed at emerging and experienced leaders who aspire to authentically connect with others, to build healthy working relationships and to increase their postive leadership presence and influence.

You will walk away with a clear and practical roadmap with the tools and pracitces enabling you to build your leadership presence from the inside out ensuring lasting change and impact.

Beating Burnout

A 2-3 month program aimed at supporting you to navigate out of or to mitigate the risk of burnout. Walk away with a clear action plan so you can move from surviving to thriving.

Assessment: We will start off with gaining a data-driven understanding of your current burnout risk and what aspects of your work context could be contributing to this. We will use an assessment called the Organisational Human Factor Benchmark which provides you with a personal report detailing your workplace wellbeing state and any relevant risks.

Coaching: During 4 intensive coaching sessions, together, we will forge a way forward to support you to navigate the impacts of lower energy and motivation levels.

Mindfulness-Based Stress-Reduction

A 8-week live/online group course that will enable you to develop mindfulness skills, reduce stress, enhance your awareness of self, improve emotional regulation, increase concentration, foster better relationships, and develop a daily mindfulness practice.

You will master various mindfulness techniques such as meditation, body scans, and mindful movement to cultivate present moment awareness.

We will unpack the science behind mindfulness practices so you can understand the impacts on your brain and body. You will be able to recognise stress triggers and develop skills to manage stress more effectively.

Mindfulness helps us to observe emotions without judgment to develop greater emotional regulation and resilience in the face of stressors. You will gain a deeper understanding of your thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations, leading to increased self-awareness.

Regular mindfulness practices can improve attention and concentration, enabling you to focus more effectively on tasks and activities.

It will also empower you with coping strategies to deal with difficult emotions, thoughts, and situations in a more constructive and mindful manner. You will begin to notice the differences with your relationships as you will foster greater empathy, compassion, and communication skills, leading to improved relationships with oneself and others.

Overall, you will learn to integrate mindfulness into their daily routines, making it a sustainable practice and you may even adopt healthier lifestyle habits as a result of increased awareness and self-care practices cultivated during the program.

Transition Triumph

A short coaching program to support you to navigate a current life change or to embed a new habit. This can consist of a once-off coaching conversation or it can be an ongoing process.

This is a personalised coaching program aimed at guiding you through a time of significant change. Through personalised sessions, you will gain insight into your reactions to change, develop practical strategies for managing transitions, and cultivate resilience to thrive in new circumstances. This program empowers you to embrace change as an opportunity for growth and transformation to successfully emerge stronger on the other side.

1. Team Building

I facilitate the process of creating and fostering a cohesive, collaborative, and effective group of individuals who work together towards common goals. Tools I am accredited in that support team building process are: Belbin Team Roles, Insights Discovery and Hogan Personality Assessment. 

2. Psychometric Assessments and Report Writing

I support recruitment agencies and internal talent teams with intepreting and understanding psychometric assessments to ascertain the suitability of an individual for a new roles, promotion or talent development opportunities. I am accredited in the following psychometrics: CPP, Baron EQi 2.0, Hogan Personality Assessments and INTEG User (COPAS, IP200 and PAW). 

3. Organisational-wide Culture and Employee Experience Assessments

About Me

Throughout my career, in the corporate world and within a consultancy, I have always been driven by the opportunity to support both individuals and organisations to create optimal working environments. I firmly believe work should be a positive and fulfilling experience for us. This belief led me to make a transition in my career. After working in corporate South Africa, I embarked on a new adventure with a small team to launch a start-up in the UK. This change has allowed me to broaden my horizons and gain insights from different industry sectors.

I have had the opportunity to consult with many different organisations of various sizes, assisting leaders to reimagine how work is designed. My approach has always been to empower these leaders to make informed decisions aimed at creating working environments where employees can truly thrive and function optimally.

As an Organisational Psychologist I have a broad understanding of the corporate world and how this impacts people. My coaching practice is therefore focused on supporting individuals to achieve greater success in their careers, within their relationships (in or outside of work) and help in managing the negative impacts of workplace stress and burnout. Burnout – an occupational phenomenon – has lasting effects on both the individual and the organisation they work for. Having witnessed firsthand how the world of work can often inflict harm, I have become dedicated to helping individuals navigate through various challenges, providing support and guidance as they progress in their professional journeys. Utilising coaching principles and implementing actionable strategies, I help them take charge of their own growth, development, and wellbeing in a positive manner.

Utilising my Neurolinguistic Programming and Life Coaching qualification, I help individuals unlock their potential, overcome limiting beliefs, and face challenges with resilience. As a Mindfulness Teacher, I advocate for mental health and wellbeing, guiding individuals to enhance their happiness, mental and physical health, and emotional balance.
